SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Otho. AD 69. Æ As (29mm, 14.87 g, 12h). IMP M OTO CE AVG sic, laureate head right / Large S • C, pellet below; all within laurel wreath. Cf. McAlee 320(b); cf. RPC I 4320. Earthen green patina. Near VF. Very rare variety.

Both Paris and the British Museum record an obverse legend variety with IMP M OTHO CE AVG, with a shortened CAE, but this abbreviated form of Otho's name appears to be previously unrecorded.
